PCMD All-Metal Projector Ceiling Mount for Acer H6500 Review

This was my first time working with mounting a projector. I purchased the Acer H6500 to install in our basement rec room. Projector mounts are mostly listed as "universal mount". As I am always concerned about believing anything described as "universal", I tried to find a mount that was specific to the H6500. This was one of the few that I could find. Given that the price was reasonable and with the backing of Amazon returns, I purchased it. Install was straightforward; instructions were as well. While not yet problematic, be aware of what is above the location of the mount as vibrations do transfer. Our kitchen is directly above the mount, and have noticed upon occasion, that there is a transfer of some vibration. With a projection that spanned 12+ feet for an image of 100+ inches, any small vibration can create distortion with the image. This occurrence has been very manageable in our situation as the occurrences have been few and far between; however, if the amount of traffic above the mount is high, be aware that you may have some unintended consequences.
