I recently purchased a Canon SX40 HS and very happy with it. It came with a lithium battery but hearing that the battery was rated for around 400 shots I knew I needed more. I average around 700 shots a day when I photograph. At first I was leery that any battery that didn't have the Canon name would be a lot less than 400 shots or less standby time. I WAS WRONG. I purchased 2 Photive Original NB-10L batteries to have as a backup and happily I found out that these batteries performed great. I could not tell the difference from the one that came with the camera and these two. I will purchase them again when I need more batteries. They arrived when they promised. The company even called to see if I was happy with my purchase. I am very satisfied with this company!
